As the culminating show of eight Gallatin artists’ undergraduate experience, To Be a Part and Apart brings together their work that explores the intersections of personal and collective experience. Within a single space, these artists create a multidimensional dialogue that fosters a deeper understanding of the complexities of the human condition.

The artists utilize diverse media to delve into their cultural identities, emotional landscapes, and the nuanced dynamics of family and society. Pieces within the show critically examine the pervasive influence of technology on perceptions of reality, normalcy, and collective consciousness. The body of work creates an environment that pushes viewers to embody the perspectives of others and rethink subjectivity. 

To Be a Part and Apart invites us into the orbit of young artists navigating the world around them.
